Thanks for the tip! I have to constantly watch my shoes, I normally pick comfort over style and once I find a pair of shoes that are cute and comfortable I hate to let them go!

Hi Jean,
You didn't miss the memo. Your spam filter deleted it for you! LOL
Pantyhose will always give you a more polished look. However, the "rule" varies by region. It is not the same issue in California, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico as it is in Maryland, DC and Virginia.

That bare-legged look is a sexier look which is fine at the club, not so fine in the boardroom. Keep those pantyhose on; maintain your polish and your warmth.

Bonnie,
I found you through the WSJ forum today and have a question regarding pantyhose. Many of the younger women (in MD-DC-VA) region do not wear stockings, particularly with "peep-toe" shoes. I feel less polished (and chilly!) without stockings. Is "no pantyhouse' the new fashion rule? Did I miss a memo? :-)

Thanks, Jean

Great advice, Bonnie!

I love the specific, practical tips, as well as the overall concept that with a little bit of thought and preparation, we can have our image by choice, instead of by chance!

I agree that when we like the way we look, we like the way we feel, and then we draw positive responses to us!

Thanks for the wonderful tips,
Valerie
